Admission

Applications are made through the Admissions Department at the front office of the school. Please contact
K. Bonnie at bonnie@gardenrayong.com or by post, phone or fax.

Applications for admission to Garden International School are accepted at any time during the academic year, which typically runs from late August to late June.  Admission is open to students of all nationalities.

Application for admission at all levels requires the completion of the enrolment form (pdf, doc) and admission is subject to the payment of the appropriate enrolment fee.

The fees can be seen in English or Thai (pdf).

The documents that you will need to provide are listed here (pdf).

Students will be placed in their correct age group except in exceptional circumstances. The reasons for this would be in the best interests of the education of the child and requires approval from the Principal. The age ranges for each class can be found here (pdf).

Entrance to Year 12, to begin IB studies, requires a minimum of five passes at GCSE with C grade or better, or in the case of a student entering from another system, evidence that they have reached a standard of academic achievement such that they are likely to succeed in the IB programme.

Buses
We provide a fleet of minibuses covering the region. Our Admissions Department will be pleased to give you further information.

English as an Additional Language (EAL).
Many of our students require extra English, and we have a dedicated suite of rooms and specialist EAL teachers available to provide a programme tailored to the needs of the individual student. An entrance test in English is required for students whose first language is not English, as stated in our admissions policy (pdf). If extra English is required it is important to read our EAL policy (pdf). In particular note our English language requirements for students who wish to enter year 10 and above.

Our admissions policy in full can be read here (pdf).
