May I start by offering you a sincere welcome to Garden International School website.
Here at Garden International School we provide a safe and caring environment that aims to educate young people to the highest standards. Our friendly, caring atmosphere ensures a warm welcome for everyone.
Our classes are taught by motivated, well qualified teachers and fully supported by first-class facilities and services. We have a strong academic record with an excellent record of placing students in further education. Students of all abilities do exceptionally well at Garden International School and we are very proud of their achievements. Our students also constantly display excellence in sports, languages and arts.
We hold traditional values of good manners, appearance, respect and the development of self-discipline whilst providing a very relevant, modern, global and holistic education which will enable our students to succeed in the workplace and society of the twenty-first century. We hope that our students learn the importance of peace, justice and freedom; that they learn to deal with change; that they become critical thinkers; that they learn how to learn and develop a lifelong passion for learning.
Our curriculum is internationally biased, using the curriculum of England and Wales up to year 11 (grade 10) as a framework. Students at the end of year 11 may be awarded up to eight International General Certificates of Secondary Education (from Cambridge University). In years 12 and 13 (grades 11 and 12) we offer the challenge of the International Baccalaureate Diploma programme, permitting students access to universities world-wide.
Our student body represents around 50 countries. Our teachers are experienced at integrating students coming from a wide variety of cultural, linguistic and academic backgrounds. We have a strong English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme and also provide English Language immersion programmes to allow for rapid student integration into our mainstream curriculum.
On leaving Garden International School our students should be confident all-rounders, well prepared for the next stage of their education and for their role in a challenging, demanding and rapidly changing world.
I look forward to welcoming you to our campus and having the chance to show you our school in action. Please do not hesitate to contact us to arrange a visit. You will be warmly welcomed. Information on admission is here.
With kind regards,
David Moroney BSc PGCE MA
